PA - OH - IN - IL - IA - NE - WY - UT - NV

Well, the road trip is coming to an end... :( We had all our East Coast visits, did extensive exploring, and now it's time to head home. We've been booking it! We left Massachusetts on Wednesday and now we are in Nevada. Here are some pictures of the quick sight seeing we've been able to manage along with a bunch of "on the road" pics!
(Port Clinton, OH - on Lake Erie - state #17...we think?)

(Cheyenne, WY has boots everywhere!)

BITSY BLOG!

Bitsy has been having a wonderful time on this road trip. She travels great, loves exploring all these unfamiliar places, and always has her nose to the ground, smelling something brand new! Here are some pictures from her journey :)

MA - NH - ME

Mitra, Bitsy and I drove along the "wrinkly" coastline of the Northeast the past few days, traveling as far south as Cape Cod, Mass and as far north as Portland, Maine! We ate the freshest Maine lobster, explored tide pools, went to Plymouth Rock, and saw the biggest houses EVER! A picture is worth 1,000 words, so here are....several thousand words:

CT - MA

Have you seen us on the news? The Northeast has been drowning in rain the past several days but today the sun finally came out and we took advantage, exploring Boston! We visited Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Boston Commons, Newbury Street, and about a hundred cemeteries (just kidding, but close!).

Since Tuesday, we've been staying in Lexington, Mass., an historical 'burb about halfway between Boston and where Mitra completed her undergraduate degree in New Hampshire. She says these places are where her "roots" are and, as such, we've been visiting all the people who were involved in her beginnings - old friends, neighbors, bosses, and college roommates! It's been great and we still have about four more lunch dates to attend before leaving Massachusetts and heading back WEST!

A few snaps!
